AUTISM HOUR OCTOBER 2ND:
Autism is known as a kind of ‘growth deficiency’. This disease affects the children widely. In world level, awareness programmes are conducted to make known that these type of children should not be neglected or ignored. As a part of this awareness, one hour on 2nd October has been declared by the commercial organizations AS ‘calm hour’. Out of the effort of the National Autism Association of England, ‘Autism Awareness programmes are going to be conducted throughout the country. As a part of it, it has been decided to stop the glaring light rays and the loud music for one hour in the shops. By this, , they have decided to give a chance of a pleasing ‘shopping experience’ to the children affected by the ‘dysfunctional sensory problems and to give awareness about ‘Autism’ to the other customers. The chained list of Commercial organizations, known as ‘Intu Centres’ , have spread throughout England. Along with them, some more shops and restaurants are going to take part in this effort. Parents of these special children are thanking for this great effort from now onwards.
LOSSES OF EYE SIGHT WILL INCREASE IN FUTURE:
According to a medical research, it is revealed that due to the increase of population and the increase of the old people, the number of people having eye-deficiency, will increase three times in the year 2050.
In a survey taken in more than 188 countries, it is known that more than 20 crores of people are suffering from average and serious type of eye-deficiency. Based on this survey, the researchers feel that the number will exceed 50 crores in the ensuing year 2050. People belonging to the South and the East Asian areas are affected by the eye deficiency in large numbers. Similarly the number of those having ‘cataract problem’ also increases. The researches have recommended that each country should allot more funds for tte eye deficiency.
