BARNYARD ADAI- RECIPE:

BARNYARD ADAI- RECIPE

Ingredients:

Barnyard millet-1 cup;kodorice- 1 cup; bengalgram dal -1 cup’tur dal – 1 cup; moong dal- 1 cup;

Onion-1; carot-1; garlic-4 pieces;

Dry chili -1; ginger-a small piece; anise- 1 tsp; salt, oil and curry leaves.

Method:

Soak both the millets and the dals separately for 2 hours. After that, grind all the ingredients along with the millets and dals. The flour should not be so nice. It should be in a semi ground state. Cut onion nicely and scrap the carot. Keep the pan on the stove, heat it, pour oil and put mustard, curry leaves and the cut onion and sauté and add it in the flour.

Heat the dosa tawa, apply oil and pour the flour like dosa. Spray the scrapped carot and pour oil in the edges. Turn the side and allow it to be cooked with reddish color.

You can add drumstick leave also instead of carrot.

You can enjoy the taste with tomato chutney and   mint leaves chutney.
