GOLDEN MILLET IDLI- RECIPE:
Golden millet- ½ tumbler; potapo-2; onion and tomato- each 1; oil, mustard, urid dal, tour dal, chilli powder and idli flour and salt.
Cook the potatoes and peel off the skin. Cook the golden millet by adding a little water. Pour oil in the pan and after the oil is hot, add urid dal, tour dal, and mustard and sauté them. Add onion, tomato, smashed potatoes and a little water and stir all of them in low flame. Add chilli powder and salt. Then add the cooked golden millet and stir well and switch off the stove.
After the mixture becomes cool, pour the idli flour in the idli pot and put the golden millet mixture in between the idli and allow it to be cooked. Now the golden millet idli is ready.
