RECIPES FOR READY MIX VARIETIES- UPMA MIX /RIBBON PAKKODA MIX/ DOSA KIX :
White rava-1 kg; red chilli-10;urid dal and Bengal gram- each 5 tsp; oil-50 milli; mustard and salt.
Heat oil in the pan and fry mustard, urid dal, Bengal gram and chilli. Add rava with them till it turns to red color. After adding salt, collect in a vessel. At the time of requirement, mix 1 tumbler of ravai with 2 tumbler of water and allow it to boil. After it is cooked, switch off the stove. If you need, you can also add onion duly fried.
Raw rice, Bengal gram each 1 kilo; pepper and salt –each 2 tsp.
Dry the rice and the dal in the sun. Add pepper with them and grind them in the machine, clean it and add salt and preserve. When required, add hot oil with 1 tumbler flour and mix with required water and allow them to be fried in the hot oil as ribbon pagodas.
White rava, rice each ½ kg; maida- ¼ kg; pepper and cumin seeds-powdar each 2 tsps, curd and salt.
Grind rava and rice and add pepper, cumin seeds powder and salt and mix all of them and preserve. When required, add water and curd with the flour and add curry leaves. Keep all of them for 5 minutes and then prepare dosas.
