COCONUT MILK ‘KOZUKKATTAI’- RECIPE
How to prepare the outer flour?
Boil 2 cups of water and add the raw-rice flour little by little and stir well. While stirring, add a pinch of salt and oil with the flour. After the flour becomes thickening, put it in a wet cloth, after 10 minutes, make small balls out of the flour. Touching oil in the hand, make cups out of the balls.
How to prepare ‘poornam’?
Take 2 cups of jiggery and 1 cup of water and boil it as syrup. When the syrup comes to the correct stage, add 2 cups of scrapped coconut, cardamom powder and camphor laurel. And switch off the stove after 5 minutes.
Keep this mixure inside the rice-flour cups and boil it in the steam.
Now tasty ‘kozukkattai’ is ready. All like it to eat.
