SOME PLANTS EAT INSECTS; WILL THEY EAT HUMAN BEINGS ALSO?
Plants prepare their food with the help of sunlight, carbon-di- oxide and by the act of ‘photosynthesis’ .They derives the nitrogen for that purpose from the ground.
The plant known as ‘Nepenthus which live in Meghalaya eat non-vegetarian food. The plants which grow in the areas where the fertility of the ground is less, and do not contain the nitrogen, they pull on the pests and get the nitrogen required for them from the insects as food. There is a tumbler like shape in these plants. The pests are attracted by the attractive pleasant smell enter into the tumbler-like shape. After they enter the tumbler like shape closes. The pests are then digested and the plant gets various minerals like nitrogen from the insects.
There are on-vegetarian plants more than 600 in the world. Some plants eat even small rats and frog. Some plants which live in water eat the Larva of the Mosquitoes and small fishes. But telling that the plants eat human beings are mere cooked-up stories.
